Magazines
iT's for Teachers
iT''s for Teachers is a quarterly magazine for teachers of English. It includes articles, interviews, and book reviews, as well as topical classroom activities. The magazine is available in print and online format.Class out
We publish Class out magazine for students at British Council centres worldwide. Class out is a magazine targeted at learners of English, aged 15-25. Since September 2004 we have supplied over 195,000 copies of Class Out to 36 countries.
Books
iT's English Activity Books
These are photocopiable resource books with interactive CDs for teachers of English as a foreign or second language. Each book includes activities for all student levels. The CDs include audio, PDF versions of selected activities to print or project onto a whiteboard, and interactive exercises from the corresponding section at the its-english Internet site. There are currently nine titles available.
The Language Teacher's Survival Handbook
This handbook, written by Lindsay Clandfield and Duncan Foord, includes chapters on teaching methods, the history of ELT, grammar, teacher body language, professional development, using L1 in the classroom, surviving technology... plus lots of tried and tested practical classroom activities.
Online resources
The its-online network consists of six sites providing different services for both teachers and students of English. The sites are password protected and can be accessed by our magazine or online subscribers.

This site includes the content from the current and back issues of the print magazine, iT's for Teachers. A free Teacher Alert service notifies teachers by email of forthcoming events with links to related activities.its-english
At the its-english Internet site there are more than 400 interactive exercises. All these exercises can be used for self study or in the classroom. There are activities for all student levels divided by theme.its-myworld
A community Internet site where students of English can create their own English homepage and take part in different online projects, keep a blog, and communicate with other students.3sixty5
A bank of teaching activities related to different dates in the year. Teachers can search for activities by date, theme, or activity type. All the activities are simple to use in class and require little or no preparation.its-online
